Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) with beige and blue stripes with thin lines in white and yellow. It is a European twill from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. The herringbone weave reinforces visual linearity and at the same time makes it very consistent. A sober and cheerful fabric at the same time.

#1 - 135 × 96 cm (54" × 38" / 1.05 yards)
#2 - 50 × 140 cm (20" × 56" / 1.55 yards)
#3 - 60 × 135 cm (24" × 54" / 1.5 yards)

CONDITION
Ticking in good condition. Only minor wear consistent with age and history. Some pin sized holes. Some scuffs. The color of the fabrics (REC-RA-BEIGE-006) F, G, and H is practically identical. In panel #1 on the bottom edge there is a very nice mending. Lovely.
