Beautiful vintage ticking in pink red. It is a European damask fabric from the 1900s. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. These fabrics are cotton, medium weight and resistant (but very soft!). Perfect textile for small decorative projects, appliques, toiletry bags, cushions, bags, etc. Featuring a pattern of cherry blossom branches and fluttering swallows. Also in this textile appear the oriental themes so fashionable in Art Nouveau.

#1 - 50 × 124 cm (20" × 49" / 1.36 yards)
#2 - 100 × 88 cm (40" × 35" / 0.97 yards)

CONDITION
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Perfect for lumbar cushions!
