Extraordinary and old Finnish pillow cover made of cotton and a rustic linen (linen tow). This fabric is a handloom twill weave. The term "tow" refers to the shorter flax fibers left over from the spinning process. With stripes of different shades of indigo, off-white, and red. The pillow is double-sided. It can be used as is or it could be opened for projects.

ROSARIO SAYS: "These fabrics are from the late 1800s - early 1900s. As seen in the Collection of the Seurasaari Open Air Museum (Finland). I think they are elegant pieces because of the simplicity of the colors and the softness they have achieved from the linen. A wonderful treasure!"
