Beautiful antique Swedish pillow filled with feathers with a beautiful combination of gray stripes and other stripes of very warm colors, pinks or reds which gives it luminosity. Woven in linen (tow) and wool. Usually woven on handlooms about 50-60 cm wide. This pillow has been hand-sewn closed, a delicious old detail! It is filled with the authentic feather/down to be used as is or it could be reworked for projects.

50 × 48 cm (20" × 18")
The pillow may be used as is or it could be opened and the fabric would be double the size, approx. 50 × 96 cm. (20" × 36")
CONDITION
Excellent condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Some pale marks. A few minimal scuffs. Exceptional and extremely rare! As found condition, most fabulous indeed!
