Magnificent vintage tickings with an exotic nature motif. They are European damask textiles manufactured circa 1940 to make mattress covers. These fabrics have never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean.
These textiles are particularly dense and strong perfect for upholstery projects. The designs of this fabric take us to the east: cherry blossoms, waterfalls and bridges, exotic birds, etc. Designs very much to the taste of European Modernism of the nineteenth century.
