Delicious vintage ticking in bright red color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. Pattern of large and small flowers: Peonies, thrush and some schematic acanthus leaves. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is very pleasant to work with.

Fair condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets.
