A special fabric! Strong yet moldable vintage sky blue, grey, white and yellow striped ticking, is a European cuti twill fabric (from French “coutil”) from around 1940. This textile, recovered and recently washed , was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is especially soft medium weight cotton. Notable are its calm, elegant, and classic colors.
