Extraordinary and very rare vintage ticking in soft pink color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930 or earlier. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric made of cotton. It is such a special fabric that it deserves to be part of a space on the walls of our house. The motif is seagulls of very different sizes that fly over the entire sky represented.
It is a unique piece.

CONDITION
Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Color unevenly faded with time. Moderate scuffing towards the side seams. Some significant tears Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Original back patches. With hand mendings. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Specially soft fabric. The edges are slightly irregular. Despite all these imperfections it is a unique fabric. Maybe not for everyone. Incredibly beautiful and rare!
