Extraordinary old Finnish ticking. With longitudinal stripes in blue and other narrower ones in red, white, black and even yellow. This textile was part of a mattress cover or a large pillow. It was woven on a manual loom of about 58 cm. This cotton and linen fabric is from the early 1900s.

CONDITION
Excellent condition. Original color. A couple scuffs towards the side. The selvedges are slightly deteriorated. Otherwise, the piece is in excellent antique condition. Wonderful and extremely rare. The blue color has an incredible patina of age. The piece was filled with down, so some feathers may still be present.
