Beautiful unused vintage ticking of a vivid Dijon yellow color with a floral motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured circa 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It's medium weight cotton. Highlights the brightness of the yellow sateen.

CONDITION
Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. May have only extremely superficial marks consistent with age and history. Very nice hand-moldable texture. This fabric is unwashed and has the original sizing (starch). Selvages preserved intact.
