Excellent vintage ticking with navy blue and white stripes. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1940. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is lightweight and very soft cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, etc. The originality of these colors stands out. Excellent for nautical style projects.

CONDITION
Fair condition. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing throughout the piece. A significant tear towards the middle. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Please see the croquis. Despite these imperfections it is a special fabric. Incredibly beautiful and rare!
