Wonderful vintage beige ticking with pink and white stripes. It is a European sateen fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from the early 1900s. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. The years give it a beautiful patina of old age.
ROSARIO SAYS: "The way I see it is a curious, unusual, but elegant and precious color combination."
