Beautiful vintage ticking in pink with a very intense shine. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is extra soft cotton, yet heavy in weight. It is very resistant. It is a fabric with a lot of weight and drape. Pattern of flowers, large shells and Cupids reminiscent of the French Rococo style.

CONDITION
#2 - Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Moderate scuffing towards the side seams. One intact selvage. Without eyelets, but with the seams of the original tape.
