Original vintage ticking with stripes in different shades of beige, blue, red, black, yellow and white. The years have given it a wonderful aged patina. It is a resistant European fabric made around 1950 from herringbone weave In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (or in French "coutil"). It is made of light to medium weight cotton. The herringbone has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture, it also makes it very consistent.
ROSARIO SAYS: “I am fascinated by the “play” of stripes of different colors, along with varied widths”
