Beautiful vintage ticking in deep red color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. Sets of three leaves that sometimes look like vine leaves joined by their tendrils run throughout the piece. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a wool mattress cover. This fabric is soft cotton and is light to medium weight. It is very soft and has a lot of drape.
