Wonderful vintage ticking with red, cream, and white stripes. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (from the French “coutil”)
It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The herringbone has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture
ROSARIO SAYS: “A perfect combination of colors and widths of the stripes !!! It is elegant as well as fresh and colorful. "
