Charming vintage ticking with mint green and pink stripes with some thin white and red lists. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (french "coutil") from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It's a medium-weight cotton fabric. It has a delicious combination of colors.

#2 - 65 × 126 cm (26" × 50" / 1.38 yards)

CONDITION
#1 - Fair condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Pale fading.Minimal scuffing throughout the piece. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Selvages somewhat deteriorated by areas. Not perfect at all, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful old textiles. A strong texture, but soft and moldable.
