Charming vintage ticking with mint green and pink stripes with some thin white and red lists. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (french "coutil") from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It's a medium-weight cotton fabric. It has a delicious combination of colors.

Ticking lot composed of 2 pieces:
#1 - 54 × 158 cm (22" × 63" / 1.75 yards)
#2 - 61 × 110 cm (25" × 44" / 1.22 yards)

CONDITION
#1 - Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Color unevenly faded with time. towards the top edge. One intact selvage. No eyelets. But with the original tape seams and tack stitching where the tape used to be tied. Lovely!
