Charming vintage ticking with mint green and pink stripes with some thin white and red lists. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (french "coutil") from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It's a medium-weight cotton fabric. It has a delicious combination of colors.

#2 - 113 × 116 cm (45" × 46" / 1.27 yards)

CONDITION
#1 - Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the top edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact.
#2 - Fair condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Moderate scuffing towards the bottom edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage.
