Charming vintage ticking with mint green and pink stripes with some thin white and red lists. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (french "coutil") from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It's a medium-weight cotton fabric. It has a delicious combination of colors.

#1 - 124 × 180 cm (49" × 71" / 1.97 yards)
#2 - 48 × 144 cm (19" × 57" / 1.58 yards)

CONDITION
#1 - Excellent condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the bottom edge. A small tear towards the middle. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Not at all perfect but with the imperfections often present in these beautiful antique textiles.
