Delicious vintage ticking with light green and white stripes. It is a European sateen fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a light weight cotton fabric. It is a soft fabric after many washes. It has a delicious combination of colors.
