Beautiful vintage ticking with green and beige stripes with some thin white stripes. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. It has an elegant color scheme.

#1 - Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Some pale marks towards the top edge. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Some small pea sized holes towards the middle. Slightly worn eyelets. One intact selvage.
