Beautiful vintage ticking with green and beige stripes with some thin white stripes. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. It has an elegant color scheme.

Ticking lot composed of 3 pieces:
#1 - 83 × 106 cm (33" × 42" / 1.16 yards)
#2 - 60 × 152 cm (24" × 60" / 1.66 yards)
#3 - 75 × 134 cm (30" × 53" / 1.47 yards)

CONDITION
#1 - Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage.
