Delicious vintage ticking in olive green and white stripes. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1960. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. It is a soft fabric after many washes.
ROSARIO SAYS “The fantastic cotton yarn and the quality of the satin weave make this fabric special, resistant and soft at the same time. The slight uniform fading of the green color gives this fabric a luscious age patina. "
