A special fabric! Strong yet moldable vintage cobalt blue, white and cream striped ticking, is a European cuti twill fabric (from French “coutil”) from around 1940. This textile, recovered and recently washed , was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is especially soft medium weight cotton. Its calm and elegant colors remind us of the classic tickings.
